    EMBOSSER or STAMP

One of the most common questions we get is "what is the difference between an embosser and a stamp?". Well, we've got you covered. The photograph below compares our "Oh Baby" design in both formats. The top row shows an example of an embosser and the result you get when it is used on fondant. As you can see, when you use an embosser you are left with a raised design. Stamps, however, refer to the design being imprinted into the fondant, which you can see on the bottom row.

    HOW TO: EMBOSSERS

We recommend sprinkling your working surface with cornflour to avoid sticking. We also recommend dusting some onto the embosser design too to avoid fondant getting stuck in small gaps.

    • Roll out your fondant evenly to your desired thickness. As our embossers are designed to give you a great pop, you may need to it out thicker than usual.
    • Firmly press your embosser into the fondant and roll your pin over the embosser. Use the tab at the top to gently peel the embosser off of the fondant.
    • Please note, that this is just our recommendation, and many bakers have found methods that work best for them.
    • What to look out for when buying embossers to two tone
Not all embossers will work with the two toned method for a few different reasons, a popular one being that the design could be too intricate. It's important to bear this in mind this before buying an embosser. With a lot of patience and practice, many bakers find they can perfect the method even with the most high-detailed difficult embossers to work with.

    OTHER

    • This item is not dishwasher friendly. Please wash thoroughly with soapy warm water.
    • Want to put your embosser design on top of a cupcake and worried it won't fit? Firstly check what size cutter you use for your cupcake toppers, then check the item description to see if the sizing matches up. If it doesn't, we'll always do our best to accommodate this, just send over a message!
    • Colour may differ due to availability. We recommend washing all items before using them first, as they are made in a working environment. We are a small business and make everything ourselves, therefore, there can occasionally be minor imperfections in production. This, however, does not affect its use.

    SHIPPING & DELIVERY

We are currently aiming to dispatch orders within 1 week but we always recommend giving approximately 10 working days notice for your order to be dispatched, so if you have a deadline please get in touch for a more accurate timescale. I'll always do my best to rush out an order where it is possible. If you place an order with a sale discount code, please allow up to 2/3 weeks.

It's important to remember that dispatch & delivery are two different things. Dispatch / turn around time is the time it takes a consumer to make a product, whereas delivery refers to how quick you want Royal Mail to aim to deliver your order. For example, if you purchase a 24 hour shipping option, you can expect your order in 24 hours PLUS the amount of days it takes for the order to be made.
