Cookie Recipe

Using our products to make cookies? or as many of us in the UK refer to them as, biscuits! Here's a simple recipe to get you started.

We recommend starting with the basic ingredients listed below and then tailoring them to your liking. For example, substituting some flour with cocoa powder and adding orange extract is a great way to if you wanted a chocolate orange take on a cookie!

Plain flour 410g
Room temperature unsalted butter 200g
Caster sugar 200g
Egg One
Flavouring of your choice (e.g. vanilla) Few drops

  1. Mix together your sugar & butter
  2. Then add in your egg & flavouring. Ensure this is all well mixed together.
  3. Add in your sieved flour.
  4. Knead your dough into a ball and roll it out evenly to your preferred thickness.
  5. Use your cookie cutter to create your desired shape.
  6. Place them onto an oven tray with greaseproof paper. When the oven hits 160, pop your trays in for approximately 8 minutes and keep a close eye on them.
  7. When they're ready, pop them onto a cooling rack and then either eat them or decorate them!

This is purely a recommendation from the baking industry and we take no responsibility for any burnt cookies!
